Hello Blog Land

Over the past few months I've had a number of people ask me for my blog address and it never really hit me to start one until I found myself with books of notes everywhere with findings from experiments after weekends and weekends of craft.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Sarah Spencer and I'm a Craftaholic. I've been taking classes and teaching myself new skills over the past 8 years. Everything from cards and scrapbook pages to mini albums and little paper gifts. I love sharing my passion for All Things Papercraft with family and friends. Also with those who have a similar passion for papercraft as I do.

Over the years I've met some great people and learnt new techniques. I love watching YouTube and looking at other people's work.

2014 is the year for me I think. A new craft store has opened up in my local area of Port Macquarie called Alice in Paperland. Alice in Paperland has expanded and come up from Sydney. So excited. Alice in Paperland is full of all my favourite things. I'm also excited to announce that I will be doing a few make and takes, technique demos and workshops every Friday starting March 21st at 9am. I will also be running classes on Saturdays starting in April. So if you don't already know where it is, you should head on down and pop in and say Hello to Nicole at Alice in Paperland (Jindalee Road, Port Macquarie). She will be able to help you out with everything you need for your craft projects.

Free Demo Fridays, Starting 21st March where I'll be showing you how to use your Distress Inks. So come on down from 9am to see what you can do with them. Kits will be available to purchase for Demo Fridays (if applicable) in store as well as all products featured in the demo.

So I've also had the opportunity to have a SNEAK PEEK at the new Kaisercraft paper range from the 'Honey Chai Collection' coming in April and let me tell you that you don't want to miss this range. My first class in April is Saturday the 5th and I'll be showing you how to make a Butterfly Accordion Card just in time for Mother's Day using the new 'Honey Chai' papers from Kaisercraft. Call Nicole at Alice in Paperland on 6581 5663 to book your spot.

Well that's all from me for now. Keep checking back to see what's been happening and whats coming next.

Happy Crafting!

  2. Gorgeous card! Welcome to blogland. I recommend that you add buttons on the side bar so that people can easily follow your blog via google friend connect, or bloglovin' or whatever buttons you choose to add. And consider removing the word verification for commenting.

  4. Beautiful card. Love the butterflies floating like this in their pretty frame.

Gentle suggestion...I don't follow blogs with word verification. You might consider turning it off.
Most challenges will not allow it on if you wish to enter and most bloggers don't have time to stop and use it. You will get more followers and commentors without it

  6. What a nice start to your blog. The butterfly card looks like it would be a lot of fun to make. I don't live near Alice in Paperland but I hope to be able to check into your blog to see what you get up to, with all your paper crafting fun.
